Print a coloring task for each student. http://jennysmith.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/cg_dog-with-balloons.gif Write the colour in your own language in each balloon you want the students to colour; https://i.ytimg.com/vi/HUWDECLgkVw/maxresdefault.jpg Write the color in English inside the balloons. Implementation:

Sing and play along the balloon song. Teach students the movements: up it goes, pull it down, how it bursts. Teach the word balloon”. Students need to do the movements and learn to say/sing aloud colours in English. Repeat the song few times in a row. Hand out the coloring tasks. Students color the balloons and learn colours in English. Sing the Counting with bugs song and learn numbers in English. Sing the song a few times in a row. Teacher places the colour circles on the whiteboard and says: “Let’s count. How many blue, red etc. balloons”? Students watch the video clip “theme 13” ( first time with the teacher). They repeat everything after the programme. Teacher needs to pause the video for translation and correction of pronunciation during first listening.

Conclusion:

Play Kimble (board game) in small groups. Each student says the number and colour out loud, e.g. number five, color yellow and counts the steps, one-two-three-four-five.
