Learning objectives:

Students find information about Walpurgis night. The students design a poster based on the information they found. The students illustrate the poster and discuss Walpurgis night in Zoom.

The teacher introduces the topic ‘Walpurgis night’ and students’ task is to find information about it online or from textbooks. The next task for the students is to make a poster in Paint or some other drawing program with the information they found. The teacher gives some pointers on what to focus on when finding the information and making the poster (the name Walpurgis night, the date, some facts and themed decorations (witches, campfires, etc.)).

Implementation:

Students complete the task and send it to the teacher.

Conclusion:

The teacher goes through the posters, gives feedback and eventually the class will discuss it in a Zoom lesson.
